“During the first 17 years of the new millennium I ran a door and construction company. I always loved painting, making my first oil painting at five years old. So, after a hard days work and when the rest of the family went to sleep, I started painting every night. I found that I could function with as little as two to three hours of sleep. During that time I became very prolific, creating hundreds of paintings and drawings. I invented and honed different techniques while also reading about history, news, quotes, art, artists, the past, the present and the future. This gave me limitless subject matter. In college I studied color theory, painting and drawing, but it was those late nights that I really became an artist.”
